Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies helps resolve many common website issues. The cache stores temporary files like images and scripts to help websites load faster on repeat visits. However, outdated or corrupted cache files can cause display errors, slow performance, or prevent new updates from appearing.

Cookies store login sessions and user preferences. If cookies become outdated or conflicted, you might experience login problems, incorrect content, or repeated error messages.

By clearing your cache and cookies, you:

  • Ensure you're seeing the most up-to-date version of a site
  • Fix issues caused by old or corrupted data
  • Resolve problems with logins, form submissions, or loading errors
