You cannot upload assignments to Cengage from a Chromebook.  Per Cengage's website, "A fully installed Microsoft Office version is required to complete SAM projects.  SAM projects do not work with the web-based version of Microsoft Office".  Because Chromebooks run the mobile app version of Microsoft's products, they will not work with the SAM environment.

Students will need to use a Northwood Tech computer or an alternative personal computer to complete SAM projects.
