Install Grammarly Add-ins for Microsoft Office

Use these directions if you prefer to only install Grammarly to Microsoft office. If you want to install to Windows, please see separate handout.

  1. Click this link, https://www.grammarly.com/office-addin/downloading
  2. The download will begin. It may ask what you want to do with the Grammarly Add-In, select “Run”
  3. Click “Get Started”
  4. Choose if you want the Add-In for both Word and Outlook. You may uncheck Outlook if you only want to add it to Word.
  5. Click “Install”

     
  6. Once the installation is complete, click “Finish”















     
  7. Open a Word document, and you will see a shortcut on the Home Tab labeled Grammarly, as well as a new tab labeled Grammarly
  8. Click “Open Grammarly” on either tab
  9. Sign in with your email address and password
