Can I change my address or phone number online?

You can change both your address and your phone number through your MyNorthwoodtech student portal. 

 

Please click on the PDF located on the right under Attachments for a downloadable copy of these instructions.

 

1) Log into MyNorthwoodTech

 

2) Navigate to your Student Center

3) Scroll down to the Personal Information panel

4) To modify your phone number(s) or Address(s), either select the information you wish to edit (Cell or Home Address), or select the field from the drop-down on the left and press the Go arrow

 

5) The list of phones you have set up will look like this

 

6) To add a new phone number, select Add a Phone Number

  • The Phone Type options are:
    • Cellular -- Your mobile phone number. IMPORTANT: If you want text message alerts, you must list a cellular number. You will have the option to 'opt out' of texting once a message is sent to you
    • Home -- Your land line number
    • Work -- Your work phone number
  • Preferred -- This is your preferred number for contact
  • Trash Bin -- You can remove a number if it is note marked preferred
    • To remove a preferred number, select a different number as preferred first

 

7) Finally, click Save

 

8) The list of Addresses you have set up will look like this

9) To edit your Addresses, select the pencil icon

  • Home address is your primary, legal residence
  • Mailing address is where you would like communications and items such as refund checks, diplomas, and certifications mailed

 

10) The address verification tool will automatically search for and format your address as you enter it

 

11) Click OK to save
